Acceptance and Love

It's such a small thing to accept those around us,
To simply acknowledge who and what they are.
We don't have to agree or even like them;
Just say," Hello!" as you walk by or drive your car.
Simply recognize that the person is alive
And acknowledge, with joy, the brother or sister.
He or she may not be what or who you like
But is a person, made by God, a miss or mister.
Our Lord does so very much for us each day.
He loves us no matter how little or much we've got.
He wishes not a one of us to come to destruction,
He died for each of us, whether we like it or not.
So accept your fellow man.
Love him if you can,
And you'll be more and more like our wonderful Lord,
Who lived as a common man and died as a Savior.
Love whom He loves.
Love as He says in His Word.
