These instructions may be good to keep in mind for daily living, but there is no better instruction manual for our life than the Holy Bible. In God's Word is every answer that we are seeking for. God has already placed the answers to our every question in that book that He Himself inspired the writers to write as it is written in 2 Timothy 3:16, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God…” We are not to fret or worry when we don't have the answers. God has already answered every question. All we need to do is take comfort and rest in the Lord for He has already overcome the world for us. (John 1:1-4) (Matthew 6:25-30)Not only does the Bible have every answer, but it also has laws that when obeyed cause us to live an abundant overcoming life of Victory.

We will receive blessings in our finances, health, relationships as well as everyother area of life. God promises that when we follow His laws, we will live in abundance. We simply need the obedience to obey and receive.(Psalm 119:10-16) (Deuteronomy 28:1-6)
The Lord speaks to His children through His Word and the still small voice of the Holy Spirit. You will never close the Bible wanting for answers.
Trust the Lord and take Him at His word. Follow God's laws every day and I promise you that a life of blessings and prosperity is sure to follow you wherever you may go.(Psalm 1:1-3) (1 Kings 19:12) (Deuteronomy 28:2-14)

You Need Discernment!

Don't believe everything you hear...weigh and examine what people tell you.
1 John 4:1

With so many weird doctrinal fads floating around, John warns,
"Don'tbelieve everything you hear...weigh and examine what people tell you."

That requires discernment! When God told Solomon He'd grant him anything he desired, Solomon asked for "a discerning heart...to distinguish...right and wrong" ( 1 Kings 3:9 ). That's how important discernment is.

Chuck Swindoll says discernment "acts as an umpire...blows the whistle on the spurious ...doesn't fall for fakes...flirt with phonies...dance with deceivers...or kiss counterfeits goodnight. A Christian without discernment is like a loaded 747 trying to land in dense fog without instruments or radios. Lots of noise, a great deal of power, and good intentions... until." That about sums it up! Discernment is a hallmark of spiritual maturity. Paul says the only way to "take your stand against the devil's schemes" is with "the belt of truth (discernment)" fastened securely around you ( Ephesians 6:11-14 ).
So where do you find it?
(a) On your knees. Listen, "If...you need wisdom...ask God, andit will be given to you" ( James 1:5 ). Imagine having God's inputbefore making life's important decisions. Well, you can have it.
(b) In the scriptures: Think you know it all? Think again! David says, "Your laws...make me much wiser...[give] me better understanding...instead of following a way that leads to trouble" ( Psalm 119:98-101 ).
(c) By hanging out with discerning people: Remember, "Wise friends make you wise...you hurt yourself by going around with fools" ( Proverbs 13:20). Since you become like the company you keep, pick your friends carefully!

36 CHRISTIAN WAYS TO REDUCE STRESS

An Angel says, "Never borrow from the future.
If you worry about what may happen tomorrow and it doesn't happen, you have worried in vain. Even if it does happen, you have to worry twice."

1. Pray
2. Go to bed on time.
3. Get up on time so you can start the day unrushed.
4. Say No to projects that won't fit into your time schedule, or that will compromise your mental health.
5. Delegate tasks to capable others.
6. Simplify and unclutter your life.
7. Less is more. (Although one is often not enough, two are often too many.)
8. Allow extra time to do things and to get to places.
9. Pace yourself. Spread out big changes and difficult projects over time; don't lump the hard things all together.
10. Take one day at a time.
11. Separate worries from concerns . If a situation is a concern, find out what God would have you do and let go of the anxiety. If you can't do anything about a situation, forget it.
12. Live within your budget; don't use credit cards for ordinary purchases.
13. Have backups; an extra car key in your wallet, an extra house key buried in the garden, extra stamps, etc.
14. K.M.S. (Keep Mouth Shut). This single piece of ad-vice can prevent an enormous amount of trouble.
15. Do something for the Kid in You everyday.
16. Carry a Bible with you to read while waiting in line.
17. Get enough rest. 18. Eat right. 19. Get organized so everything has its place. 20. Listen to a tape while driving that can help improve your quality of life.

23. Having problems? Talk to God on the spot. Try to nip small problems in the bud. Don't wait until it's time to go to bed to try and pray.
24. Make friends with Godly people.
25. Keep a folder of favourite scriptures on hand.
26. Remember that the shortest bridge between despair and hope is often a good "Thank you Jesus."
27. Laugh.
28. Laugh some more!
29. Take your work seriously, but not yourself at all.
30. Develop a forgiving attitude (most people are doing the best they can).
31. Be kind to unkind people (they probably need it the most.
32. Sit on your ego.
33. Talk less; listen more.
34. Slow down.
35. Remind yourself that you are not the general manager of the universe.
36. Every night before bed, think of one thing you're grateful for that you've never been grateful for before.

GOD HAS A WAY OF TURNING THINGS AROUND FOR YOU.

"If God is for us (and if you are for God), who can be against us?" (Romans 8:31)

Slow Down, You'll Last Longer!!

The Lord is faithful, who will...guard you from...evil.
2 Thessalonians 3:3

A farmer and his son were travelling to the city to sell their produce. The dad relaxed while his son goaded the ox to go faster. When they passed a friend's house the older man insisted they stop and visit. Later, back on the road, he took the slow, scenic route. At dusk he stopped for the night. Frustrated and angry his son said, "You're more interested in sunsets and flowers than making money!" "That's the nicest thing you've ever said to me," replied his father. Next morning as they travelled, a blinding flash split the clouds, followed by a low rumble, then the sky grew black. "If we'd hurried we'd have missed this storm," grumbled the boy.
"Slow down, son, you'll last longer," his dad replied.
By late afternoon they reached a hill overlooking the city. After staring down at it for what seemed like an eternity, the boy finally turned and said, "I see what you mean, Dad. " Slowly they turned around and rolled away from what remained of the city of - Hiroshima!

The Bible says, "The Lord is faithful, who will...guard you from...evil." You don't know what you're being protected from, but God does.

The Bible says, "He...saves your life" every day ( Psalm 103:4). Your "steps [and stops]...are directed by" Him ( Psalm 37:23). He knows what's round the next corner. That irritating traffic jam, that unexpected phone call were all part of His plan for you. So learn to trust Him more, complain less, worry less, and rush less! Okay?
