Happy Day

Today is sunday, 4th sunday of Easter....Attended sunset mass yesterday at SMOTA, Sharon asked daddy to attend mass, and he said ok... praise the Lord!

After mass went for dinner with Grace and Mom, sharon & Jeremy....nice gathering. Everyone is happy....

Sharon left for holiday at Bali this morning, will be back on wednesday...

Have a lazy morning because no need to attend mass this morning, got up late at 10 am, have breakfast, do some laundry and off for lunch at turf city manis manis...Ash, Shaun, Dot, Pete and me, everyone enjoy our lunch...after lunch went to J P, Pete bought me a new bedsheet set with comforter because Pepper stained my bedsheet last night with blood, pepper gum bleeding...poor pepper!

Came back about 4pm, wash mattress protector and blanket and mop the floor... by then already 7 pm, went to B/L for dinner steamboat, yummy!

It is a happy day!

May Day

Today is 2nd Sunday after Easter, it is Divine Mercy Sunday, and it is also the beautification of Pope John Paul II... We are going to Divine Mercy Church at 3pm for the mass....

I had just finish a book by Rick Warren called "the purpose driven life", it took me 3 years to read this book when I bought it on feast day of St Anne at st Anne church at Ponggol.

Thanks God, I did it.

God Purpose:

On this day, God wants you to know

... wealth does not come from your bank account, wealth comes from the depth of your heart. What you really want is happiness. You might believe that a fat bank account will get you there, but that's false. Happy people are happy rich or poor, unhappy people are unhappy rich or poor. Money simply masks your real being by giving you activities to occupy your mind. Don't fool yourself, recession or not, your true wealth comes from your heart and is always only there.

This morning when I was reading my gmail, I saw this message from Yong about he appointed the lawyer to do all the company stuffs... pray that all things can be settled by end of May 2011.

The about message from God definitely is very encouraging and enriching for me.

Have You Found Your Reason For Living?

One day a depressed woman jumped off a bridge into a river.
Without thinking, a man standing nearby jumped in to save her.
But 'our hero' suddenly remembered that he couldn't swim, so he started thrashing around and screaming for help!
Hearing his cries, the depressed woman swam to his rescue, hauled him out, administered mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and saved his life.
What happened?
She found a need greater than her own, and in so doing she found a reason to live.
Jesus said, '... Unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies [to self-interest], it produces much grain.' Christ had just finished saying, '...
"Do not worry about your life, what you will eat; nor about the body, what you will put on. Life is more than food, and the body is more than clothing"' (Luke 12:22-23 ).
Career success and material things cannot be your reason for living!
You need a larger purpose, and God will give you one if you ask Him.
Some of us are born knowing what God has called us to do in life; others discover it along the way.
Some of us actually find it in our closing years.
Indeed, some of us are awakened to it by tragedy and loss.
What matters is that we find God's purpose and pour ourselves into it.
Helen Keller wrote,
'When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which God has opened for us.'
So, have you found your reason for living?
